Baset Temple

Description

Baset Temple was built in the 11th century between AD 1036 to 104, during the region of King Suryavarman I. The temple was damaged, only the door frame remains. Moreover, the area of this temple also has an ancient pond which is 20 meters long and 12 meters wide with 10 meters deep. The pond also holds water all year round.

Baset Temple is nearby the town located in Baset Village, Tapoan Commune, Sangke District, Battambang Province. It is about 15 kilometers from Battambang provincial town.
