Chambok Ecotourism Site
is created in 2001 by local environment organization Mlup Baitong and also cooperate with Ministry of Environment. Since the ecotourism created and provide income to villager, villagers of Chambok commune are help to protect the forests and make it sustain.
Chambok Ecotourism Site is next to Kirirom National Park. Once you arrive there, you will interact with villagers around the area, and discover Cambodia's unique living. You will enjoy a lot of activities such as hiking, ox-cart riding, renting bicycles, picnic, watching bird, bathing with waterfall, and visiting bat cave. You can also have lunch in villager's house if you want to experience villager living and food they eat. Moreover, villager also prepare you fruit and coconut that get from waterfall area. Talking about waterfall, it is 40 meter high waterfall which can reached vai a 3 kilometers nature trail. It is also the best area for community based ecotourism in Cambodia.
