Wat Sampov Pram

Description

Wat Sampov Pram is the historical relaxing place on the top hill of the mountain. This pagoda was built by Monivong Sisovath king of Cambodia. There is an abandoned temple complex of extraordinary architectural design as well as a modern, working Buddhist temple facility. Why Wat Sampov pram is special? Wat Sampov Pram came from the five oddly-sculpted rocks nearby resembled boats. The five oddly shaped rocks near the Wat gave the pagoda its name. The beautiful legend of the boats will be told by the resort expert guide. As well as is regarded as the highest Buddha pagodas in Cambodia as it is located on a 1,075 meters high mountain.

Activities

It is an old temple that is a place of worship for Cambodians. The Wat Sampov Pra has five oddly shaped boat rocks and much unique architecture. Especially, this place is located forward to the sea that makes a perfect combination of nature and spirituality. Behind the temple are a breath-taking view of the sapphire sea and emerald green jungle you will be amazed. Great views are over the rainforest to the coastline below, and across the sea to Vietnam’s Phu Quoc Island – on a clear day.
