Kean Svay

Description

Kean Svay is located in Phum Thom Commune, Kean Svay District, approximately 19 kilometers from Phnom Penh and about 30 kilometers from Takhmao. To reach Wat Kean Svay, travelers can cross the Monivong Bridge and head east along National Road 1 for around 19 kilometers. The entrance to the pagoda is on the left, and the site is located about 300 meters from the main road.

Kean Svay has been a popular local tourist destination since 1979. Its main attraction is Wat Kean Svay Krau, a serene temple surrounded by nature. The area is especially well-known for its floating houses and riverside restaurants, which attract visitors from Phnom Penh and beyond.
