Banteay Kdei Temple

Description

Banteay Kdei Temple is the small Buddhist style temple with one very nice Buddha statue fully decorated towards one end of it. Banteay Kdei Temple was built early 12 Century and the late 13 Century and creator by the famous king of Cambodia Javaraman VII that has located the east of Angkor Thom Angkor Archaeological Park, Krong Siem Reap and the Southeast of Ta Prom Temple. Banteay Kdei Temple is a short shaded walk to the temple, Moreover, the greyish temple color was good for the photo. Banteay Kdei Temple has 9 towers in the central part of the building. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful due to a few people. The stone carvings (Apsaras and Guards) are a very interesting decorator. In additional Banteay Kdei is also the popular temple there several large trees with buttress roots growing throughout the temple similar to Ta Prom it's a nice place to sit and be peaceful for a while.
