Description
Mekong Bird Resort is run with an eye to detail. It's neat and clean, fabulous food and English speaking owner and staff. We can arrange car/van trips to see the dolphins and majestic waterfall on the border with Laos and have their own boats and kayaks to visit the flooded forests and Ramsar wetlands.
It is a very peaceful place. Our bungalow was complete with bathroom (cold shower), large bed, fans, AC, power, large balcony overlooking the water. Sit back to river watch, sky watch, river people watch, butterfly and bird watch. Everyone and everything slows down here.
