Ta Prohm Temple
Description
Ta Prohm Temple has a very interesting historical site. By reading or listen to the name, don't get confuse with Ta Prohm Temple located in Takeo Province. Ta Prohm Temple was built during 1200 by king Jayavarman VII. It is in the period of Mahayana Buddhist which in Cambodia's history of art is called Bayon style. The temple structure was mainly constructed of brick and laterite. And the inner first of Ta Prohm Temple is 42 meters long and 36 meters wide. If you are planning to visit Tonle Bati, it is good to stop by Ta Prohm Temple and take 30 minutes walk around the temple.
