Koh Kong Province
Description
Koh Kong Province is a nature-rich destination in southwestern Cambodia with its capital in Khemarak Phoumin (Koh Kong City), known for its islands, rainforests, and adventure travel, with easy road access from Phnom Penh. Much of Koh Kong’s interior is mountainous and forested, including large areas of the Cardamom Mountains — one of Southeast Asia’s largest remaining rainforests. This makes the province especially popular for eco-tourism, boating, and outdoor adventures.
