Daun Mea Temple, also known as Preah Pithu V, is located within the Angkor Thom complex in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. It is part of the Preah Pithu group of temples situated northeast of the Royal Palace area. Visitors can reach the temple easily from Siem Reap city by tuk-tuk, taxi, or bicycle, with a travel time of about 15–30 minutes. Once inside Angkor Thom, Daun Mea lies directly north of Prasat Chorm and can be accessed via walking paths connecting the cluster of Preah Pithu temples.

At Daun Mea Temple, visitors can explore an early 12th-century Hindu temple built on a cruciform plan, featuring a large sandstone linga in the northern wing and a grand raised causeway leading to a terrace with round columns reminiscent of other classical Angkor sites. The temple’s artistic style is similar to that of Angkor Wat but remains partly unfinished, offering a unique glimpse into Khmer architectural evolution.
